Announcement - invitational tournaments

Russian Correspondence Chess Association (RCCA) has the pleasure to announce the invitational tournaments “Vayser Memorial” and “Tolush Memorial” approved by ICCF World Tournament Director and cordially invites the players to participate.

Vladimir Vayser (1944-2013) – Grandmaster ICCF
Aleksander Tolush (1910-1969) – International master ICCF, grandmaster FIDE, he took part in 4-th World Championship ICCF.

Vayser Memorial.

Category X: Possibility higher, dependent on the players entered. Granting GM, SIM, IM norms. 13-17 players.

Rules : ICCF standard rules for server play - 50 days / 10 moves

Start date : 1st February 2014

Criterion for foreign players: The highest ICCF rating as at 2014/1

Players who wish to participate in Vayser Memorial shall have a ELO (rating) 2500+ (or about) in ICCF rating list from 2014/1.

Tolush Memorial.

Category VII: Possibility higher, dependent on the players entered. Granting GM, SIM, IM norms. 13-17 players.
